Toyota Motor, the world's largest automotive manufacturer (overtaking GM in 2008), designs and manufactures a diverse product line-up that includes subcompacts to luxury and sports vehicles, as well as SUVs, trucks, minivans, and buses. Popular brands owned by Toyota include Scion and Lexus.
Vision Launchers developed a custom programming application that collected customer information from their non-traditional marketing efforts for their popular Scion Brand. This web application interfaces directly with Toyota's non-traditional marketing agency who coordinates grassroots events using the popular Webconnex web service. When the customer information is received, the application securely synchronizes with Toyota's main customer database server on regular intervals for reports, metrics and other uses.
